This free-suspended water plant has glossy, green bulbous leaves with delicate lilac blooms that last a day or two. Long, thick black roots trail below, providing good breeding grounds for fish and frogs. Hyacinth are especially good at absorbing excess nutrients in the pond, competing with algae. Prolific reproducer. Requires water 60 degrees and above, remove in the fall. Bare root.*
