This free-suspended water plant has velvety green, deeply veined leaves. Long, thick black roots trail below, providing good breeding grounds for fish and frogs. Water lettuce prefer slightly acidic water. Will help soak up excess nutrients. Prolific reproducer. Requires water 60 degrees and above, remove in the fall. Bare root.*
